There was a time when the 9/11 Truth Movement was confined to Internet boards and late night radio programs. These were the days when we looked to movement leaders like Alex Jones for lively debates on this touchy subject.
Lately, however, 9/11 Truthers have been attempting to break into the mainstream. Though unable to garner positive public reception through facts and reason alone, many have resorted to various forms of outrageousness. You probably remember the big Geraldo At Large live broadcast crashing from September. More recently, Truthers have made their presence known at such venues as a taping of Bill Maher's Real Time program and a Bill Clinton speech.
I fear this campaign of public disruption has put an ugly stain on the 9/11 Truth Movement. More and more, I find it difficult to sympathize with the movement when its most vocal supporters are nothing more than thugs. Is this a new wave of punks hijacking the movement? Or are the Truthers finally showing their true colors? In either case, I feel the damage done to what little credibility the movement had will soon be irreparable...Full Article.
